On 9th February, 2024 project members Sangam Khadka, Khushi Subedi, Karmendra Shrestha and Sanskriti Pokharel visited Laboratory School and gave a workshop on Layers of Soil, Traffic Signs and Flag of Nepal to the students with visual disabilities of grade 6.

At first, each of them sat beside the students and administered pre-test to assess their understanding about the topic ‘Layers of Soil’. Later, Sangam Khadka explained about the topic and one by one, they touch and explored the 3D model. All the students took their turn to perceive the model in detail.

Similarly, they were also given to touch the 3D models of ‘Flag of Nepal’ and ‘Traffic Signs’. They explored the models and gave creative feedbacks. Students also use mobile phone to operate CFC app and listen to audio description of the model. The workshop completed after post-tests were administered.
