On 14th December, 2024 - Saturday, members of Chain For Change including some Executives and Officers along with Intern Design Instructor (2024/25) Ms. Gala Cervera went for a hike to Champadevi.

It is one of the popular day hikes near Kathmandu, Nepal. Champadevi hills situated at an altitude of 2,278 meters (7,474 feet), offers breathtaking views of the Kathmandu Valley, lush forests, and the gorgeous Himalayan range.

Hiking for around 3 and half hours, we reached to the summit, where we found a small shrine dedicated to Goddess Champadevi, with colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind. It's not just a viewpoint—it's a place of peace and reflection. As it was a clear day, the views were vivid and spectacular, with mountains like Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and even glimpses of Everest.

Our executives, officers and Intern Design Instructor spent their quality time together in the lap of the Champadevi hill. Everyone brought different types of food both cooked and packaged and shared it among each other. This hike gave a chance to reconnect with nature, breathe in fresh mountain air, and enjoy a simpler, slower pace of life for a day to our CFC family.
