Braille Script Workshop - 2024

On September 16, 2024 - Monday, Chain For Change successfully conducted a workshop about braille script to the remaining 9 project members at its Resource Centre for Accessible Facilities, St. Xavier's College, Maitighar, Kathmandu. This session was facilitated by the Founder & President of CFC Mr. Abhishek Shahi along with the support of Secretary of CFC Ms. Deepika Shahi and officers Mr. Karmendra Prakash Shrestha and Sambek Shahi.

The project members learn about the history and origin of braille, learn about slate and stylus, read and write braille in English and Nepali and also carry out some basic numerical calculation. They also learned about the concept of braille contraction and Nemeth braille system.
