On 23rd September, 2024, Chain For Change carried out a workshop about Phases of the Moon to 9 students with visual disabilities studying in Grade 5 to 8 of Namuna Machindra School, Lagenkhel, Lalitpur.

Our Research and Quality Assurance Officer Mr. Karmendra Shrestha led the workshop with the support from 2 of the officers Mr. Sangam Khadka and Sambek Shahi along with some of the project members (2024/25). Even our international interns (2024/25) took a part and supported them in conducting different activities.

At first, they administered the pre-assessment to map the knowledge of the students. Then, they taught the concept and later use the 3D models to make students with visual disabilities develop the clear mental image of the topic. After the event, post-assessment was also administered to record the efficacy of their learning from the workshop.
